Overview of caster pendulum impact tester:
Caster pendulum impact tester is a type of impact tester. It is a detector used to measure the performance of metal materials in resisting impact under dynamic load, so as to judge the quality condition of materials under dynamic load. Caster pendulum impact tester can be divided into manual caster pendulum impact tester, semi-automatic caster pendulum impact tester and fully automatic caster pendulum impact tester according to different control methods. The semi-automatic control tester introduced this time is simple to operate and highly efficient. The lifting, hanging, impact and release of the pendulum are all electrically controlled, and the residual energy after the sample is broken can be used to automatically lift the pendulum to prepare for the next impact test. It is especially suitable for laboratories that conduct continuous impact tests and metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and other industries that conduct a large number of impact tests.
Standards met by caster pendulum impact tester:
JB-300B semi-automatic impact tester complies with the national standard GB/T3808-2002 "Inspection of caster pendulum impact tester", and performs impact test on metal materials according to the national standard GB/T229-1994 "Metal lower notch impact test method".
Technical features of caster pendulum impact tester:
1. The main machine of the tester is a single-support column structure, cantilever hanging pendulum mode, and the pendulum hammer body is U-shaped;
2. The entire impact test process is controlled by a hand control box
3. Ordinary caster pendulum impact tester, digital pendulum impact tester and microcomputer-controlled caster pendulum impact tester can be selected according to needs
4. The specific impact energy can be read on the dial, displayed on the LCD screen, or directly read from the computer screen.
5. The impact knife is fixed with screws, which is easy to replace;
6. The main machine is equipped with a safety pin and a safety net;
Electrical control principle of the impact test process:
1. Press the pendulum button to connect the LD through the action of the relay, clutch and contactor; after the pendulum is raised to the highest position, it touches the micro switch, the motor stops, other electrical circuits are reset, and the safety pin extends.
2. Press the pin withdrawal button to return the safety pin.
3. Press the impact button to connect the valve electromagnet to realize the pendulum impact and reset all electrical circuits.
4. Automatic pendulum: After the power is turned on, the servo motor rotates counterclockwise all the time, so that the contact it drags is always in a disconnected state. When the pendulum is in the direction of stopping or falling, the power supply contact cannot be connected. When the pendulum rotates in the direction of swinging, and its rotation angular velocity is greater than the speed of the servo motor, the power supply contact is connected and the relay is connected. When the angular velocity of the pendulum gradually decreases to less than the angular velocity of the servo motor, the power supply contact is automatically disconnected and the relay is activated. At this time, the clutch and contactor are connected to rotate the drag motor to swing.
How to use the caster pendulum impact tester
1. Before the test, it is necessary to check whether the test machine is in normal condition, and all operating parts and their fasteners must be safe and reliable.
2. Determine and select the pendulum of the corresponding range according to the requirements of the sample material, and pay attention to the connection screws to be tightened firmly.
3. Check and adjust the relative position of the sample support and the impact pendulum. The span of the support jaws should be 40 mm. The adjustment of the jaw span and position is based on the pendulum blade and is carried out with the help of a template. When adjusting, first loosen the screws to slightly open the span of the two jaws, place the sample flat on the two jaws, lower the pendulum and push the blade into the 30° V-shaped notch on the sample, squeeze the two jaws inward by hand until the sample is pressed tightly, and then tighten the screws to make the sample support firmly and reliably pressed.
4. Check and adjust the needle
When the pendulum is freely in the plumb position, turn the pointer to the maximum reading on the reading disk, adjust the needle so that the upper plane is close to the pointer column, and then rotate the fastening screw on the needle.
5. Air strike test and inspection
The purpose of the air strike test is to check whether the energy loss is too large. During operation, the pendulum is raised to the pre-lift angle position, the manual pointer is set to the maximum reading value, and the "impact" button of the hand control box is operated. When the impact is completed, the pointer is quickly set back to the maximum reading value of the reading disk by hand. After the hammer completes the second impact, it is controlled to the "brake" position, and the pointer indication value is read. The difference between the two indication values (the first should be 0) is divided by 2 to obtain the energy loss during an air strike. For a pendulum with a maximum impact energy of 300 joules, the energy loss is allowed to be 1.5 joules, and for a pendulum with a maximum impact energy of 150 joules, the energy loss is allowed to be 0.75 joules. If it exceeds the allowable value, check whether the elastic gasket pressure is too large, whether the needle is loose and the position is accurate, whether the brake belt clutch position is reasonable, and whether the pendulum shaft bearing is flexible, etc., until the allowable value requirements are met.
6. Install the sample
First, control the impact pendulum on the bracket, place the sample so that the groove is facing away from the blade, and place it flat and close to the two jaw supports. Use the alignment plate to align the notch on the sample so that it is exactly in the middle of the jaw span and aligned with the impact blade. Remove the alignment plate to perform the impact test
7. Impact test
Press the "retract pin" on the manual control box to perform the "impact". In addition, remind users to pay attention to regular inspection and maintenance of the equipment to ensure the accuracy of the test and extend the service life of the equipment.
