1. The casters wrapped on site have twisted wire deformation, caster packaging cloth damage and wrinkling, steel belt skewness and other phenomena, which affect the caster packaging quality.
2. The prices of various caster packaging materials have risen, and the cost of caster packaging has risen. Improving the quality of caster packaging and reducing the cost of caster packaging have become the top priority, and user satisfaction reaching 100% is our ultimate goal.
Starting from the second half of 2024, in order to reduce the cost of caster packaging, the branch factory began to transition from large pads to small pads fixed on the end face of the stranded wire, which alleviated the pressure of caster packaging costs to a certain extent, but a new problem arose: the fixed position of the small pads has higher requirements for operators, otherwise they will deform due to uneven force when stacked in multiple layers. The team members investigated the deformation phenomenon of the stranded wire, and further used the arrangement diagram to analyze and concluded that the main cause of the quality defect of the stranded wire deformation was the unreasonable position of the small pads fixed on the end face of the stranded wire.
The QC team members conducted multiple tests based on the force conditions of the stranded wire when it was overturned and stacked, and found that as long as the four small pads can be evenly distributed on the end face of the stranded wire and aligned in sequence when stacked in multiple layers, deformation due to uneven force can be effectively avoided. Except for the uncontrollable deformation caused by the bumps during transportation, other factors are controllable factors. The correct use of tools helps us to accurately locate the small pads during the caster packaging process.
