Product Introduction:The ZL Type Tooth Coupling with Elastic Pin is a flexible coupling consisting of two half-couplings with external teeth, one internal gear ring, and several elastic nylon pins (cylindrical in shape). It achieves flexible connection, vibration damping, shock absorption, and misalignment compensation by inserting the elastic pins between the internal and external teeth, replacing direct metal-to-metal engagement.

Application Scenarios:Water pumps, fans, compressors, mixing equipment, ball mills, crushers, as well as medium to low-speed light-load equipment such as packaging, filling, and sealing machinery.

Q1: What's the difference between ZL and ZLL type?

ZL is basic type. ZLL adds a brake wheel on the outer ring, good for applications that need braking.

Q2: Can ZL coupling handle misalignment?

Yes, but limited. It can handle small axial, radial, and angular misalignment. For big offsets, use ZLZ type with intermediate shaft.

Q3: What happens if a nylon pin cracks?

Torque transmission drops and noise increases. Replace cracked pins immediately to avoid damaging the flange holes.

Q4: Is ZL coupling heavy?

Not really. Compared to gear couplings with same torque rating, ZL is lighter and has smaller rotational diameter.

Q5: Can I use ZL coupling for high speed?

Check the spec sheet. Max RPM depends on size. For very high speed, dynamic balancing is required.
