LX Type Elastic Pin Coupling
Product Introduction:The LX Type Pin Coupling Elastomer (also known as HL Type Pin Coupling Elastomer) is a mechanical coupling with elastic elements. It connects two half-couplings and transmits torque using several non-metallic elastic pins. This structure allows for a certain degree of axial, radial and angular misalignment, and offers excellent vibration damping and cushioning performance, making it suitable for medium load and medium speed transmission applications.

Q1: What does LX Type Pin Coupling do?
It connects two shafts and transmits torque. The elastomer pins absorb shock and allow small misalignment.
Q2: Is LX coupling same as HL coupling?
Very similar. HL is an older name. LX follows GB/T 5014 standard. Most people use them interchangeably.
Q3: What material are the pins made of?
Nylon 6 (PA6) is the most common. Sometimes polyurethane or other elastomers for special needs.
Q4: Can I replace pins without moving the motor?
Yes. Just take out the old pins, put in new ones. The half couplings stay on both shafts. Super easy.
Q5: Does this coupling need grease or oil?
Nope. No lubrication required. The nylon pins run dry.
Q6: What happens if a nylon pin breaks?
The coupling will still work but may make noise and lose shock absorption. Replace broken pin ASAP to avoid flange damage.
Q7: Is LX coupling good for high speed?
It's ok for medium speed. For very high speed, you need dynamic balancing. Check the max RPM in the spec sheet.
