1. Ordinary gray cast iron casters: The carbon content is relatively high (2.7% to 4%). The carbon mainly exists in the form of flake graphite, which is nature itself. Fractures are gray in color and are called gray iron. It has a low melting point (1145~1250), small shrinkage during solidification, compressive strength and hardness close to carbon steel, and good shock absorption. Suitable for processing machine tool beds, cylinders, boxes and other structural parts.
2. Malleable cast iron casters: White cast iron is annealed and graphite is distributed in floc, which is called ductile iron. Its structure and properties are uniform, wear-resistant, plasticity and toughness are good. Used to manufacture parts with complex shapes that can withstand strong dynamic loads.
3. Ductile iron casters: referred to as ductile iron. It is obtained by adding a certain amount of spheroidizing agent and deinking agent to promote the crystallization of spheroidal graphite in molten cast iron. Compared with steel, it has almost all other properties except plasticity and toughness. It is a material that has the advantages of both steel and cast iron and has a wide range of applications in mechanical engineering.
4. Pregnancy cast iron casters: This is a "metamorphic treatment" based on gray cast iron, also known as metamorphic cast iron. Its strength, plasticity and toughness are better than ordinary gray cast iron, and its structure is more uniform. Mainly used for large castings with high mechanical properties and large cross-section dimensions.
5. Special performance cast iron: This is a cast iron with certain characteristics, which can be divided into wear-resistant cast iron, heat-resistant cast iron, corrosion-resistant cast iron, etc. Most of them belong to alloy cast iron, and cast iron casters are widely used in the machinery manufacturing industry.
