What are the common components of casters? Although a caster is not that big, there are a lot of parts and knowledge in it!
1. Bottom plate
Used to install a flat plate in a horizontal position.
2. Fixed support assembly
The composition of industrial casters The composition of industrial casters consists of a fixed bracket, a nut and a wheel axle. Does not include wheels, wheel bearings, and shaft sleeves.
3. Living support assembly
It is composed of movable bracket, axle and nut. Does not include wheels, wheel bearings and bushings. The shaft sleeve is a non-rotating part made of steel that is sleeved on the outside of the wheel shaft and is used for wheel bearings.
4. Center rivet
Rivets or bolts used to fix rotating devices. Tightening the bolt-type rivet can adjust the looseness caused by rotation and wear. The center rivet is an integral part of the bottom plate. Rotate the fixed wheel in the bracket.
5. Steering bearing
Single-layer bearing: There is only one layer of steel balls on the large track.
Double-layer bearings: There are double-layer steel balls on two different tracks. Economical bearing: It is composed of steel balls supported by a stamped and formed upper bead plate. Precision bearings: It is composed of standard industrial bearings.
