What are the components of casters? Although a caster is not big, it contains many parts and knowledge!
1. Mounting plate
For mounting flat plates in horizontal position.
2. Fixed support assembly
The composition of industrial caster is composed of fixed bracket, nut and wheel axle. Wheel, inner bearing and shaft sleeve are not included.
3. Live support assembly
It is composed of movable bracket, axle and nut. Wheels, in wheel bearings and sleeves are not included. The shaft sleeve is a non rotating part made of iron and steel, which is set on the outside of the wheel axle, for wheel bearing.
4. Center rivet
A rivet or bolt used to hold a rotating device. Tightening the bolt type rivet can adjust the looseness caused by rotational wear. The center rivet is an integral part of the base plate. Turn the fixed wheel in the bracket.
5. Steering bearing
Single layer bearing: there is only one layer of steel ball on the large track.
Double layer bearing: on two different tracks, there are double steel balls. Economical type bearing: it is composed of pressed upper ball plate supporting steel ball. Precision bearing: made of standard industrial bearing.
