Now caster manufacturers all follow GBT standards to implement, which also standardizes the technical requirements of medium-sized casters and improves universal usability.
I. Appearance technical requirements
1. All parts should not have defects that affect use, and the surface of metal parts should be well prevented from rusting.
2. The surface of the parts should be uniform in color;
II. Assembly technical requirements
1. The rotating parts should rotate flexibly without jamming or loosening;
2. The wheel assembly should be firm, and the axle should not rotate with the wheel;
3. The braking device of the braked medium-sized caster should have reliable performance;
4. The steering clearance of the bracket should be 0.1mm-0.2mm;
5. The main dimensions of the medium-sized caster should comply with GBT regulations.
III. Technical requirements for wheel circular runout
The end circular runout tolerance is 1.0% of the wheel diameter D, and the radial circular runout tolerance is 0.5% of the wheel diameter D.
IV. Technical requirements for overload capacity
The residual deformation of the wheel diameter D after the overload test should comply with the provisions of the following table.
V. Technical requirements for anti-static pressure capacity
After the anti-static pressure capacity test, the medium-sized caster should maintain the following performance:
1. The rotating parts rotate flexibly without jamming or loosening;
2. The axle does not rotate, and there is no deformation that affects the rotation of the wheel.
VI. Technical requirements for walking performance
Under test conditions, medium-sized casters or wheels should meet the following requirements after crossing 500 obstacles on the walking test machine:
1. Tire cracks and local excessive wear of the peeling machine;
2. There is no abnormal damage to the parts of the medium-sized caster and deformation that affects the use;
3. The bearing (sleeve) rotates normally without sticking or loosening.
