How to choose casters:

The purpose of using casters is to reduce labor intensity and improve work efficiency.

Correctly choose the casters suitable for your use according to the application method, conditions and requirements (convenience, labor saving, durability)

Bearing weight:

Loading weight calculation T=E+Z/M

T=carrying weight of each caster

E=weight of the vehicle

Z=weight of moving object

M=effective load capacity of wheels (factors such as location and uneven weight distribution should be considered)

Traditional flexibility:

1. The casters should be flexible, easy and durable, and their rotating parts (leg rotation, wheel rolling) should be made of materials with a small friction coefficient or accessories assembled after special processing (such as ball bearings or quenching treatment)

2. The larger the eccentricity of the tripod, the more flexible the steering will be, but the load-bearing capacity will be reduced accordingly.

3. The larger the diameter of the wheel, the easier it is to push and can better protect the ground. Larger wheels rotate more slowly than smaller ones, are less likely to heat up and deform, and are more durable. Choose wheels with larger diameters as much as possible if the installation height allows.

Moving speed:

Requirements for caster speed: in normal temperature environment, on flat ground, no higher than walking speed 4.2 km/h, and working with certain stops.

Usage environment:

When selecting, consideration should be given to ground materials, obstacles, residues and special environments (such as iron filings, high temperatures, low temperatures, high acidity, high alkalinity, oil and chemical solvents, and places requiring antistatic). Casters made of special materials should be selected for use in special environments.

Installation Precautions:

Flat bottom: The mounting surface must be flat, hard, and not loose.

Orientation: Both wheels must be oriented in the same direction and parallel.

Screw: must be equipped with spring washers to prevent loosening
