We encounter many common problems when producing various types of heavy-duty casters. For example, during the production process of base-type heavy-duty casters, we often find that the base plate will be deformed, and the severity of the deformation will be different. So how should we change this situation when this happens? In addition to the deformation of the base plate, there will also be some problems with the bead plate during the production process of the swivel caster. We must pay special attention to the swivel heavy-duty caster because it carries relatively heavy objects. Once the bead plate has quality problems Will bring unpredictable consequences. Below

Shangxin Caster will briefly analyze these issues for you:
A. How to avoid deformation of heavy caster bottom plate:
a) The surface quality of the heavy caster base plate should be inspected visually or with a 5x magnifying glass.
b) Fatigue test, impact test, simulation test of heavy caster base plate: testing equipment testing.
c) The inspection of load and dimensional tolerance, surface shape and position tolerance of the finished heavy caster base plate should be carried out after checking whether it is deformed, but the load and dimensional tolerance should also be qualified before deformation.
d) Compress (stretch, twist) the finished heavy-duty caster base plate five times to the height (length or working limit torsion angle) under the working limit load, and measure the height (or length, angle) of the fourth and fifth times. If it remains unchanged, it is considered that there is no deformation.
B. How to prevent the bead plate of heavy-duty casters from turning blue and black:
a) Corrosion resistance of the oxide film: It should not rust after being corroded by 4% salt water solution for 4 hours.
b) Strength of the oxide film: The bonding strength of the oxide film and the main body. Rub it with a dry cloth and it should not show metallic luster.
c) Smoothness of parts and others: After rinsing, drop 1-3 drops of phenolphthalein alcohol solution on the workpiece. If the phenolphthalein alcohol solution turns pink, it means the cleaning is not clean.
d) Denseness of the oxide film: After the parts turn blue, etch them with 4% copper sulfate aqueous solution for 40 seconds before oiling. No copper plating is allowed on the surface of the parts. However, a small amount of copper plating spots are allowed on sharp edges, corners and welds.
e) The color of the oxide film: The color should be uniform after bluing, and spots and parts not covered by the oxide film are not allowed. The same part is allowed to have color differences due to different surface finishes, or parts with partially quenched or welded parts. After bluening, carbon steel and low alloy steel parts should have a uniform black oxide film. Castings and silicon-containing alloy steel parts are allowed to be yellow or brown after bluening.
Through the discussion and research on the above issues, we know where these problems are and how to avoid them. This can avoid the recurrence of problems to a certain extent, and at the same time, we must further fundamentally solve the occurrence of similar problems. Regarding the heavy-duty caster bottom plate and the universal heavy-duty caster bead plate, you can refer to the relevant information above. If you have more and more comprehensive methods, you can discuss and share them together.
