①Size: Generally speaking, the bigger the caster diameter, the less effort it will take to push, and the better the ability to pass obstacles. Casters are usually expressed in inches. The commonly used sizes of Shangxin Caster are 2-inch, 2.5-inch, 3-inch, 4-inch, 5-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, etc. Generally need to promote, such as supermarket shopping cart, logistics trolley, tool cart, etc., 4-6 inch caster is preferred. However, if the caster diameter is too large, the center of gravity of the equipment will rise and the cost will increase. Therefore, comprehensive consideration should be taken.

②Installation method: there are many installation methods of casters, including bottom plate, bolt type, four angle rod type, snap spring rod type, cylindrical rod type, octagonal rod type, welded pipe type, hole top type, etc. Generally, screw rod, inserting rod and clip spring can be used for light load, while bottom plate is used for heavy load, or directly welded to equipment.。

③Brake: in terms of function, if there are brake wheels or brake bracket, double brake will be applied when both brakes are applied together. There are also tread brake, front brake, side brake, etc.

④Caster layout: for the same equipment, the location and quantity of casters are different, the selection of casters is also different, and the feeling of pushing is also greatly different. It's better to communicate with caster manufacturers based on their own situation.

⑤Bracket: divided into directional and universal, the material is generally carbon steel, can be used for various electroplating, such as zinc plating, copper plating, nickel plating, chromium plating, spraying, etc., and stainless steel is also used.

⑥Load capacity: the same diameter caster, general manufacturers will produce several series for different load, such as light, medium, heavy and so on. When calculating the load of a single caster, a certain safety factor should be given. When the ground is relatively flat, the load of a single caster is = (total weight of equipment × number of casters installed) × 1.2 (safety factor); if the ground is not smooth, then single caster load = total weight of equipment △ 3, because no matter what kind of uneven ground, there are at least three wheels supporting the equipment at the same time, this algorithm is equal to increasing The safety factor is more reliable, which can prevent the insufficient bearing capacity and greatly reduce the service life of casters or cause accidents.

⑦Wheel material: very many. Generally, there are UC, TPU, TPR, TPE, PP, PVC, pH, PA, rubber, nylon, etc. It's important to choose according to the applicable temperature, ground environment, driving frequency, pushing speed, etc.
