1. Wheel maintenance
Check the wheels for wear. The poor rotation of the wheel is related to debris such as thin wires and ropes. The anti-winding cover can effectively block the entanglement of these sundries.
Too loose or too tight casters is another factor, replace damaged wheels to avoid unstable rotation. After checking and replacing the wheels, be sure to tighten the axles with lock washers and nuts. Because the loose wheel shaft will cause the wheel spoke to rub against the bracket and get stuck, it should be noted that replacement wheels and bearings are always available to avoid loss of production stoppage.
2. Inspection of brackets and fasteners
If the movable steering is too loose, the bracket must be replaced immediately. If the center rivet of the caster is fixed by a nut, it must be firmly locked. If the movable steering cannot rotate freely, check whether there is corrosion or dirt on the ball. If equipped with fixed casters, ensure that the caster brackets are not bent.
Tighten loose axles and nuts and inspect welds or support plates for damage. When installing casters, lock nuts or lock washers should be used. The installation of the expansion rod caster should ensure that the rod is firmly installed in the casing.
3. Lubricating oil maintenance
Regularly add lubricating oil, the wheels and movable bearings can be used normally for a long time. Applying grease to the friction parts of the axle, sealing ring and roller bearing can reduce friction and make the rotation more flexible.
Lubrication is normally performed every six months. After the car is cleaned every month, the wheels should be lubricated and maintained.
