Heavy-duty casters have been widely used in life, and using heavy-duty casters has become a way of life. So how to design the swivel plate of heavy-duty casters?
Heavy-duty casters refer to casters with relatively large load capacity. According to the load-bearing capacity of casters, there are also light casters and medium-duty casters, and there is no clear boundary.
Generally, casters with a load capacity of 500 kg to 15 tons, or even higher load casters, are called heavy-duty casters.
The bracket design of heavy-duty casters usually uses metal materials as the main body, including ordinary steel plate stamping, cast steel molding, die-forged steel molding, etc., usually mainly flat-plate assembly.
The steel plate thickness of heavy-duty casters generally uses 8mm, 10mm, 16mm and steel plates above 20mm. And it can effectively guarantee the load-bearing performance.
The swivel plate of heavy-duty casters usually adopts double-layer steel ball runway, stamping and heat treatment. Generally, plane ball bearings or plane needle roller bearings with large force are used, and cone bearings are matched to effectively improve the load capacity of heavy-duty casters.
The swivel plate is made of die-forged steel and is formed in a finished form, which effectively avoids the welding of the connecting plate bolts and improves the impact resistance of the heavy-duty casters.
