Trolleys are commonly used transportation tools in our daily production and life. According to the number of casters, they are divided into one-wheeled trolleys, two-wheeled trolleys, three-wheeled trolleys, and four-wheeled trolleys. Among them, the four-wheel plastic flat trolley has a wide range of uses and is relatively simple to operate. How should we choose suitable trolley casters?
1. According to the approved load capacity of the trolley, the load capacity of this kind of plastic flat trolley is within 300 kilograms, so the load-bearing capacity of a single wheel of the caster is about 100 kilograms. It is recommended to use casters of 4 inches or above, because the larger the wheels, the easier it is to push.
2. Depending on the use occasion of the trolley, if it is a floor paint workshop, electronics workshop or hotel that requires relatively quiet situations, it is recommended to use TPR or polyurethane casters with silent effects.
3. When the above two conditions are met, confirm whether the mounting hole spacing of the casters is the same as that of the plastic flatbed truck. Because the mounting hole spacing of conventional medium-sized casters on the market is 74mm*45mm, and the mounting hole spacing of this plastic flatbed truck is generally 84mm*71mm. If you cannot find a suitable mounting hole spacing for the medium-sized casters, you can directly use heavy-duty casters instead, because the mounting hole spacing of the heavy-duty casters is the same as that of this plastic flatbed truck, but the price of heavy-duty casters is more expensive than that of medium-sized casters. Some, but the quality is much better.
4. When installing this kind of trolley casters, it is recommended that two directional wheels be matched with two universal wheels, and the universal wheels should be installed on the side close to the handle. This installation method makes it easier to control the direction of the trolley.
