Production process

According to the sequence, they are: internal mixing process; Preparation process of glue parts; Extrusion; Calendering; Bead forming; Sticking triangle rubber strip; Belt forming; Tire forming process; Vulcanization process. The following are described separately:

Mixing process

The internal mixing process is a process in which carbon black, natural/synthetic rubber, oil, additives, accelerators and other raw materials are mixed together and processed in an internal mixer to produce "rubber compound". All raw materials must be tested before entering the internal mixer and released before use. The compound used in each rubber component in the tire has specific properties. The composition of compound depends on the requirements of tire performance. At the same time, the change of compound composition also depends on the needs of supporting manufacturers and the market, which mainly come from the requirements of traction, driving performance, road conditions and tires themselves. All sizes should be tested before entering the next process-the preparation process of sizing parts, and can only enter the next process after being released.

Preparation process of adhesive parts

The preparation process of rubber parts includes six main sections. In this process, all the semi-finished rubber parts that make up the tire will be prepared, some of which have been preliminarily assembled.

Extrusion

The compound is fed into the extruder to extrude different semi-finished rubber parts: tread, sidewall/mouth and triangular strip.

Calendering

The raw material cord passes through the calender and a thin layer of rubber material is hung on both sides of the cord. The final product is called "cord fabric". The raw material cord is mainly nylon and polyester.

Bead forming

Bead bead is made by winding many steel wires after hanging glue. This compound used for beads has special properties. After vulcanization, the compound and steel wire can be closely attached together.

Stick triangular rubber strip

In this process, the triangular rubber strip extruded by the extruder will be manually attached to the bead. Triangular rubber strip plays an important role in tire handling performance.

Belt forming

This process is to produce belts. In the spindle room, many steel wires come out through the threading plate, and then pass through the mouth plate at the same time with the rubber material to hang rubber on both sides of the steel wire. After hanging glue, the belt layer is cut to the specified angle and width. Width and angle depend on tyre size and structural design requirements. All rubber parts will be transported to the "tire forming" process for tire forming.

Tire forming process

The tire molding process is to assemble all semi-finished products into green tires on a molding machine, where green tires refer to those that have not been vulcanized. After inspection, the raw tire is transported to the vulcanization process.

Vulcanization process

The raw tire is loaded into a vulcanizing machine and vulcanized into a finished tire after proper time and conditions in the mold. The vulcanized tire has the appearance of the finished tire-pattern/font and tread pattern. The tires will be sent to the final inspection area.
