Overview:

Industrial PU heavy duty caster mainly refers to a kind of caster product used in factories or mechanical equipment. It can be made of advanced imported reinforced nylon (PA6), super polyurethane and rubber. The whole product has high impact resistance and polyurethane, which is one of them. The metal parts of the bracket are galvanized or chrome plated with high-quality steel plates, and precision ball bearings are installed in the internal part by integral injection molding. Users can choose 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm steel plate as caster bracket. 1. Temperature requirements

 Severe cold and heat may cause trouble for many wheels. For manual trucks, it is best to choose heavy-duty casters that are suitable for the ambient temperature.

1. For use on rough ground, rubber, polyurethane or super synthetic rubber wheels should be resistant to wear and have good elasticity.

2. When working under special high temperature or low temperature, or the working environment has a large temperature difference, metal wheels or special high temperature resistant wheels should be selected.

3. Where it is required to prevent the accumulation of static electricity, it is best to use a special anti-static wheel, or a metal wheel (if the ground does not require protection).

4. When there are a lot of corrosive media in the working environment, wheels with good corrosion resistance should be selected accordingly. The most suitable model is selected according to the adaptability of heavy-duty casters in the operating environment.

3. Carrying capacity

Determine the load-carrying capacity that a single heavy-duty swivel wheel needs to achieve according to the design load capacity. The bearing capacity of the heavy-duty universal wheel is the most basic and critical requirement for the wheel, and a certain safety margin should be left.

4. Rotation flexibility

1. The high-precision ball bearings operate stably and flexibly, especially for high-end equipment and quiet environments.

Wheel material selection of heavy duty caster

Heavy duty PU casters are used for the movement of heavy equipment, so the wheels of heavy duty casters are generally single wheel with hard tread. Nylon wheel, cast iron wheel, forged steel wheel, hard rubber wheel, polyurethane wheel and phenolic resin wheel are all ideal choices. Among them, forged steel wheel and polyurethane caster wheel are especially suitable for the wheels matched with extra heavy casters.

According to the principle that the larger the diameter of the wheel, the more flexible the rotation, the commonly used specifications are 4-inch casters, 5-inch casters, 6-inch casters, 8-inch casters, 10 inch casters, 12 inch casters, and the extra heavy casters can use 16 inch and 18 inch wheels. At present, our 12 ton super heavy caster is a double caster with a diameter of 400mm and a wheel width of 125mm. Of course, you can also customize special specifications of heavy-duty, for example, low center of gravity heavy-duty casters, the smallest 2-inch casters, can also bear more than 360kg.
