The bracket of heavy-duty casters usually uses metal materials as the main body, including ordinary steel plate stamping forming, cast steel forming, die forging steel forming, etc., usually flat plate assembly. The steel plate thickness of heavy duty casters is generally 8mm, 10mm, 16mm and more than 20mm. At present, Wanda has designed a 12-ton extra-heavy-duty caster for China Petroleum System, which uses 30mm thick steel plates and 40mm pallets, which effectively guarantees the safety of the loaded products.
3. The wheel diameter of heavy-duty casters is selected. According to the principle that the larger the diameter of the wheels, the more flexible the rotation. The commonly used specifications are 4 inch casters, 5 inch casters, 6 inch casters, 8 inch casters, 10 inch casters, 12 inch casters, special Heavy duty casters can use 16-inch and 18-inch wheels. At present, our 12-ton extra-heavy casters are double-wheel casters with a diameter of 400mm and a wheel width of 125mm. Of course, special specifications of heavy-duty can also be customized, for example, low-gravity center heavy-duty casters, the smallest 2 inch casters, can also bear more than 360kg.
4. The design of the rotating plate of the heavy-duty caster. The heavy-duty caster usually adopts double-layer steel ball track, stamping and heat treatment. For the rotating plate of extra-heavy-duty universal wheels, flat ball bearings or flat needle roller bearings with greater force are generally used, and the matching cone bearings effectively increase the load capacity of the heavy-duty casters. For special impact-resistant heavy-duty universal wheels, the swivel plate is made of die-forged steel, which is arranged and shaped, which effectively avoids the welding of the connecting plate bolts and improves the impact resistance of the caster with greater strength.
