The Gill hurdle cart features a convenient "walk-in" design that easily holds 10 hurdles, and is compatible with either rocker or "L" shaped hurdles. The powder coated, all steel construction with swivel casters makes this cart easy to handle and long lasting.

The powder-coated steel U-shaped single cross support design gives this hurdle significant advantages over conventional high school hurdles, including easy carriage and unhindered plyometric drills. When the caster moves or wants to control its direction of travel, the force must be transmitted to the caster through the object and overcome a certain resistance to achieve. Therefore, the casters must undergo strict testing of rolling resistance and rotation resistance before leaving the factory, and only those casters that have passed the test are allowed to enter the market. Today, I will introduce to you how the rolling resistance and rotation resistance test of casters are carried out.

    For the test of rolling resistance, the standard is to install three casters on a fixed three-arm base. According to different test levels, a test load of 300/600/900N (including the mass of the base) is applied to the base. A horizontal traction force makes the casters on the test platform travel at a speed of 50mm/S (allowable deviation ±5%), and keep it for 10S. Due to the large friction force and an acceleration at the beginning of the caster rolling, the horizontal traction force is measured after the test is carried out for 5S, and its size does not exceed 15% of the test load to be qualified.
